Communications

Telephone communication is provided by British Telecom or Virgin Media (cable). All streets have Virgin Media cable access, and installation of a phone is usually less expensive on this system. Cable television is also available through Virgin Media.

The electricity service is normally supplied by Southern Electric, but other suppliers can be nominated, as with the rest of the UK

Fareham Borough Council

Details of the services provided by Fareham Borough Council can be found by clicking on the link above.

Services include collection of refuse from two types of wheelie bin. The bin with the blue lid is for collections made where refuse is recycled. This collection is made once every two weeks. The other bin is emptied weekly. Garden refuse is collected in a green bag (issued by the council) with the recycle bin. Additional green garden refuse bags are now charged at £5 each.
