Lockswood Centre

The largest group is at the Lockswood Centre. Shops are listed below. There are other businesses and facilities listed in their appropriate sections of this web site. There is also a doctors surgery (Lockswood Surgery), senior citizens centre (Lockswood Care & Wellbeing Centre), and a young peoples centre (Genesis).

On Saturdays, there is often a jumble sale, or similar, in the community building.

Post Office
Locks Heath Post Office offers a wide range of services including car tax, passport ‘Check & Send’, a bureau de change, savings, insurance, mortgages, gift cards, cash withdrawals, balance enquiries, cash and cheque deposits for many high street banks, and a photo booth (passport, visa and driving license approved).

There is also a large range of cards and stationery, haberdashery and wool.

Waitrose
The largest store at the Lockswood Centre.

Immediately to the north and west of the shopping centre is a small wooded area, and a childrens play park.

Park Gate is home to convenience stores (Co-Op, Sainsbury's, and M&S in the BP petrol station), Rowans Hospice charity shop, fruit and vegetable shop (A & T Cooper), a cycle shop (Peter Hansford), dry cleaners, Sirs mens hairdressers, and a locksmith offering a key-cutting service. There is a small free car park, which can get very busy on Saturday mornings and weekday lunchtimes.

Dymocks Corner has a Morrisons Express, with a small sub post office that has extended opening hours.

Warsash has shops in two main groups. One is along Warsash Road, near the Reformed church. These shops are a baker (Village Bakery and Tea Room), and designer fashion shop (Rhian Boutique).

The other group is around the centre of Warsash and include a hairdresser, chemist (Everetts), convenience stores (One Stop, Co-Op, fashion store (Davina's), picture framers (Hardings), pet supplies (Pawsome), and estate agents. The old clock tower is a prominent feature in the centre of Warsash.

About 7 miles west, along the M27, is the Hedge End shopping complex, with a very large Sainsbury and Marks and Spencer store, Currys, B&M, Lidl, carpet and furniture stores, and McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC and Burger King fast food restaurants.
